The staff were incredible! Hospitable, helpful, nice. They went an extra mile to help us celebrate my birthday. Location is really good. It's right in the middle of the old city, but is still located on a quite street, so you get some peace and quiet. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!

There were some water pressure issues on the first two days of our stay. WiFi did not work in our room, so we had to go sit by the pool to get some connection.

Wonderful spacious bedroom. A big shower. The bed is really nice, not too hard, not too soft with wonderful pillows and after 1,5 weeks of hard beds in Colombia this was really satisfying. Friendly staff that can speek English. Location is perfect, in a nice and quiet street but short walking distance to the rest of the old center. There is a big supermarket (Exito) around the corner. Nice to have the possibility to have a swim (it is a small swimming pool but still).

No beds around the pool to chill on so you have to sit on a regular chair if you want to spend some time around the swimming pool and in the courtyard.

The location of the hotel is very good.

The WiFi did nit work and if, only for a few minutes in my room. I had a room next to the kitchen which was noisy sometimes. One night, there was a party till 2 to 3 am. The staff did not interfere.

Pretty little oasis. Great location. Nicely decorated and clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

My room was against the street and the soundproofing could be better. Would be great if they offered conditioner along with the shampoo.

What was the highlight of Casa Arte Hotel Boutique

I was not sure what to expect. After a rough start with the transfer service not showing, the staff made up with their help and service in general. Love the wonderful breakfast every morning. I highly recommend the Waffles with Ham and Cheese. Plus they make an outstanding cup of coffee From reception to the staff maintaining the property I loved what they accomplished on behalf of the property. Friendly, helpful without interfering. The hotel is located in a great spot. Easy to get a taxi or walk to restaurants. The Excito is around the corner for supplies when needed. My room was in the back but I believe most of the rooms are very quiet and protected from outside sounds. The hotel was spotless. The pool perfect for a dip to cool off. The value is above and beyond, and I know if I get the chance to go back I will stay here again. My only recomendation for the property. I wish there was a shelf in the bathroom so we did not have to place the bottles of soap and shampoo on the floor. A few more hooks would also be a a major plus. But this is me nitpicking. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend Casa Arte

What was the highlight of Casa Arte Hotel Boutique

The best aspect of Casa Arte Hotel was the price. Most hotels at this price in the old city area of Cartagena do not have pools. The location was also nice. It's only two blocks from one of the exits through the city's ancient wall close to the ocean. That allows you to easily walk to the public beaches or leave the city for day trips (we went SCUBA diving and to the mud volcano called Volcan de Lodo El Totumo) without the aggravation of having to drive through the narrow crowded streets of the old city.

We had the one room that was on the street. There was a lot of street noise, especially early in the morning. There was also an odd odor--we believe it was coming from the bathroom. We placed wet washcloths over the drains in the shower and sink, but the smell was still fairly strong. I assume we would have been more satisfied with any of the other rooms.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast. The room is more than adequate, good bed, good shower and good wifi. Only 3 issues: the bathroom window does not open and theres no ventilation so a hot shower becomes a steam bath. 2nd: they do not have a crib for babies. The pool is kind of small and uninviting.

Theres nothing I did not like. My issues are more about good things they need to get a little bit better

Great hotel! Location is perfect! The staff is so friendly, good breakfast. Try the arepa frita con queso!! 24 front desk. They have biciycles you can use for free. The king bed is so comfortable I wished I stayed here my entire vacation. We will be back for sure!

Centrally located. Very comfortable bed.

Unprofessional, rude staff with the exception of the young boy working late shifts at the reception. Only Spanish speaking staff. No daily bottled water in the room, even after repeated requests. No change of sheets after 8 nights. Breakfast tables are located 1m from the room door; no privacy, other guests walk by the windows. Very noisy; staff preparing breakfast at 6AM, other guests playing loud music. No hair dryer in the room. Risk of food poisoning due to unhygienic conditions. Cleaning lady also serves the breakfast. Cockroaches in the bathroom. No credit card terminal to settle the bill on checkout; credit card number was scribbled on a paper instead.
